I’m back home now following TWO weekends of speaking at
seminars. Those two seminars gave me a much-needed charge,
taught me a lot of things, AND adjusted my personal goals
upward.
In fact, as I chatted with my mentor, and we discussed what
we both think I should be doing, we tentatively set my
income goal for 2008 at $100,000 Per Week.
I know, that sounds INSANE… but not when you’ve seen
what we’ve seen. You don’t know what’s possible until you
see what some people are actually doing. I’ll share more
of that thought process and methodology with you in the
next few issues.
You may also wonder why anyone would want that kind of
income. The answer is that it would allow me to do many
things (personal and humanitarian) that I’ve long dreamed
of doing. At a certain point, you do have all that you need
for your creature comforts. At that point, you look harder
for ways to improve the lives of others
At both seminars I covered how some people routinely
earn six figures just from selling affiliate products.
I also admitted that one of their big secrets IS
their lists.
The fact is that without a list, you have no way of
following up with prospects until they are ready to buy.
The fact also is that many people with list of only 3000
to 5000 average $1 to $3 per month for EVERY subscriber
on their list.
Clearly, one of your biggest aims should be building a
list. However, before you build a list, you need to
define why you are building a list. You have to clearly
identify the purpose of the list, and in order to grow
that list, you need to stick to that purpose as you
interact with list members.
I’ve shared with a few friends that one of my goals
is also to build a list of over 1 million. Actually,
that’s “a database” not a list. It’s several lists with
a combined total of over 1 million.
At Michael Penland’s seminar, I showed one of my lists
that is rapidly approaching 200,000. I also shared how
I’m rapidly building a second list, in a different niche
that also should be at over 200,000 by December 31st.
When you look at just my list building numbers, then
that $100k per month goal is not so insane.
I recently shared some of my list building madness

Building Maniacs.” I also covered some of those
techniques during my presentations over the past two
weekends. However, I couldn’t go into as much detail
as I would have liked to.
