Jim Straws $400 Million Secret…
Wednesday, January 31st, 2007I’m a voracious reader. I read, apply what I learn,
measure the results, and make adjustments. Many in
direct marketing call that “testing.”
It’s that very simple process that has allowed me to
set goals that I’m embarrassed to admit to most people
that I interact with each day. The goals are simply
beyond their ability to really envision as possible.
To give you a hint though… I own the domain

Some people, for some reason can’t be shaken out of their
lives of “quiet desperation.” I’ve tried for many years.
I’ve stopped trying to change many… realizing that the
only person that I can really change is myself ![]()
One of the ebooks that I mentioned to you in a recent
email was “You Can Be A Millionaire In One Year Or Less”
by Jim Straw. I read about and grabbed that ebook just
two days ago, yet I’ve already read it through TWICE.
One of my habits is that when I get a book or course that
I really want to digest, I set aside time in my schedule
to do it immediately. Like you, I know “beyond a shadow of
a doubt” that if I put it off, I’ll probably NEVER get to
it. At the same time, life has proven to me that if I
read a book through 3-7 times in a relative short timeframe,
then the knowledge in the book becomes a part of my thinking.
After 3-7 readings, if I never looked at that book again,
I will have gained much of what it had to offer. Even if
I don’t put that knowledge to immediate use, it’s store in
my memory, and will come to the forefront whenever I need
it.
I know what you’re thinking ![]()
You’re thinking that you barely have time to read an ebook
ONCE, so how do I expect you to read it SEVEN times. The
answer is simple…
Since you can’t possibly read most of the books that you
think that you want to read, you have to choose very
carefully. Find ones that’s really worth your time, build
time right into your schedule, and then DO IT. The solution
is just deciding which ONE to read next ![]()
Many of you readers emailed asking, did I really get that
much out of Jim’s ebook. The answer is that I got so much
out of it, that “I tracked the poor man down” and have bounced
SIX emails off of him in the past two days. He probably
regrets ever hearing of me, but his wisdom, knowledge,
business acumen, and the ability to pass that on, is so great
that I wanted MORE.
His fairly short ebook, answered many questions that I’d
struggled with for YEARS. I’d like to quote from just his
introduction:
“As I matured, my endeavors expanded and grew.. changed
course… adapted to the ever changing economy… moved
onward and upward. Each instance of growth predicated upon
providing what my potential customers needed or wanted.
Making sure that I gave more value in return for the value
I received - and - even today, in my day to day business, I
still sell one item to one customer, one sale at a time.”
He continues…
“The vast majority of people who say they want to succeed,
only want to succeed if they can make it all at once… just
one sale won’t do it. The want big sales, or thousands of
sales, immediately. - So when a new opportunity only produces
a few sales, they move on to the next “secret,” rather than
making those few sales over and over… until those few sales
have grown into thousands upon thousands of sales.”
Jim goes on to tell you step-by-step how he makes obscene
money every year, using a system that you CAN simply copy ![]()
So, to answer the question, is it worth the money, my answer
was “yes” even before I had finished the introduction. In-fact,
to me, I gained insights from the foreword… even before I
got to the introduction, that made me want to get a copy
of this amazing ebook into the hands of both of my daughters.
I’m convinced that it will dramatically reshape the course
of their lives and those of their young families ![]()
It’s very satisfying when you CAN sometimes sift through all
of the hype flying at your left and right, and find that rare
ebook that can actually change lives. Of course, if you buy it,
and then don’t read it, NOTHING is going to change. If you
read it and don’t apply it, nothing is going to change…
at least not immediately. If you read it and then do nothing,
you will have “planted the seed.” If you read it deeply
enough to really absorb it (which to me takes several
readings), you’ll grow a very nice harvest ![]()
