Why You Must Find Out About Product Launches Early!

If you are an affiliate marketer, one secret to making
more sales is finding out about product launches early.
This is true even if you are new to affiliate marketing
and have a very tiny list.

The reason that this is true is that when you find out
about a product launch early, you can position yourself
to take advantage of organic search engine traffic during
the product launch. There are dozens of things that you
can do so that you will rank near the top of the search
engines for very important product-related keywords when
you find out about a product launch early.

You can set up pages on dozens of web 2.0 type properties
such as Blogger.com, Hubpages, Squidoo, etc., and if you
have the right content on these pages you will rank very
high for product-related keywords by launch date. The key
is to get your pages up early, post often, and then get
them noticed by the search engines. Product owners will
often provide you with tons of just the right content!

Another reason that you want to find out about affiliate
product launches early is that it gives you more time to
prepare a bonus to offer purchasers of those product. It’s
no secret that the people who sell the most of a product
during many launches are the ones who offers the most
enticing bonuses. Since the basic product is the same no
matter who the customer purchases from, that only makes
sense. The bonus is what keeps the product that you’re
marketing from being just a commodity.

Often, there are numerous products being launched at
the same time. Since you can only effectively promote one
product at a time, knowing what product launches are coming
up allows you to focus on the one most appropriate for your
customers. It’s very disheartening to plan for promoting
a specific product, and then to discover on launch day
that there is a product more suitable for your customers
being launched on the same day.

When you promote any product, you really should plan out
a complete promotional campaign. That is, you should flow
out how and when you are going to do multiple promotions.
Those promotions could include emails, interviews,
articles, press releases, and perhaps even videos. You
can’t flow out these promotions unless you find out
about the product launch early enough. Ideally, you plan a
protracted campaign - one where you will continue to make
sales even after the big launch is over.

Finally, you need to find out about product launches early
because you need to allow sufficient time to actually get
a review copy of the product, and to go through it with a
fine-toothed comb. You absolutely should not promote any
product that you haven’t actually gone through, and with
some of the more substantial products, that could take
a week or more.

Those are just a few of the reasons that you really do
want to stay informed on what new product launches are
coming up in your niche. If you only learn of an
impending product launch a few days, or even a week before
it happens, you are so behind. Especially for great
search engine positioning, there are things that you
need to do at least a month in advance.

Decide today that you’re going to keep up with all of
the product launches in your industry, and market a lot
smarter.

I sell the most lucrative affiliate product in the
world. That’s my services as a joint venture broker.

I can say that because as a joint venture broker,
I earn 10-20% commission on the sales of all of the
affiliates/JV partners that I bring on board for
most product launches that I take on.

I also typically charge an up-front fee. If I didn’t
charge an up-front fee, I’d really be just another
second-tier affiliate. I bring to bear resources

Ok, I’ve been promising you some photos from my cruise
to Jamaica and Grand Cayman.

I actually have hundreds of them, and dozens of short
videos. I just need to do minor editing and get them
posted

We cruised from Miami Florida on the Carnival Fun Ship,
Destiny. We left Miami late on August 29th, spent the
30th at sea, and arrived in Ochio Rios, Jamaica early
the morning of August 31st.

This photo is of the walkway leading into the city:

Aboard the ship, you could make reservations for
numerous guided excursions. Instead, my wife and
I elected to just see Jamaica on our own. We
were joined by fellow passenger Carolyn Nichols.

Every place that we visited during the 6 or so
hours in Jamaica is in the photo

As soon as we stepped out the gate, we were
barraged by a dozen taxi drivers all offering to
show us their beloved Island on a guided tour.
Their prices started at $40 per person, and by
the time you were 100 years from the gate, the
price had dropped to below $10 per person.

A local lady heard us haggling with a local who
offered to drive us around in his air conditioned
van, and yelled out $5 per person is the going
rate

We did allow this drive to show us a few of the
sights, but spent most of our time just walking
around, exploring the local sites AND local
cuisine

We ate at one restaurant where the cook let
us taste his special sauce. Asking if we liked
it, he offered to sell us a jar or two. He
wanted $8 per bottle.

A few hours later, we had found our way to where
the locals shop, get haircuts, visit dentists, etc.
Noticing a local supermarket, we wandered in, and
discovered the same “special sauce” that the cook
at the restaurant had so graciously offered us for
$8. It was priced at about $1 in the supermarket.
You had to appreciate the enterprising nature of
the cook

We bought a few things in the supermarket… some
spices, and I picked up a pair of “water shoes” for
about $7 that I’d pay $20 for in shops set up to
cater to tourists

As we wandered further down the street we were
approached by a guy offering to show us the “stuff”
available in his liquor store. He mean “weed” and
“coke” both of what was available everywhere that
you turned. We politely declined as we continued
down the street.

I DID thoroughly enjoy my cruise and already have
another one scheduled for January. That one
goes to Mexico/South America though. It’s close
to sold out, but I’d love to have you join us.

Having just returned from the first ever “Social Media By
The Sea” Cruise, I can tell you that I’ve never been in a
better environment for really getting to know and network
with people. I left the 5-day cruise feeling deeply
connected with most of my fellow speakers, and many of the
attendees who also were on this cruise where we spent
several hours on three days in workshop sessions.

Now, I look at The Marketers Cruise which is scheduled for
9-16 January 2010, and can only begin to imagine how
amazing the networking will be. There should be close to
500 internet marketers, family members and friends on board.

I can look at the major (successful) product launches that
have happened since the last Marketers Cruise and say
unequivocally that many of the joint ventures that made those
launches so successful WERE set up on that cruise.

There’s nothing like sitting in the jacuzzi, laying back
in a lounge chair, sitting at a cozy bar, or hanging out
at a beautiful waterfall, that bonds and lets you feel that
you really know your fellow travelers…. and want to do
business with them.

That’s why I am already booked for the January cruise.

The bad news is that the cruise coordinator, Captain Lou,
just told me that it is VERY close to being sold out.

He told me that, when that happens, they will continue to
take deposits for the few inevitable cancellations… but
that’s no guarantee that you’ll get onboard.
