Then I took a close look at the software, how
it works, how it actually benefits all of the
sites that it uses, etc., and I realize that

This software LITERALLY allowed me to do a
link-building campaign in 5 minutes that would
normally have taken me about 2 days or very
boring work!

How is that possible, you ask…

Simple. Once you set the software up, you give
it a few variables and start it (which takes
about 5 minutes) and then you minimize it, and
go do other things while the software builds
high quality links pointing to your sites, with
the proper anchor text, latent semantic indexing,
etc.

The software does the grunt work, and you go do
things that are a better use of your time!

When you think about it, most of us understand

Customers basically log-in to a website, compose

then click send.  The company prints out a full
color greeting card, puts a first class stamp on
it, and mails it to anywhere in the world.  I pay
less that $1 per card to do this

The system will also allow you to compose a card
with “placeholders” for things like names, dates, etc.
Then you can upload a database that you want to
send the SAME card to. As the cards are printed,
they are also personalized, adding the appropriate
data where the placeholders are

This is how I have sent out hundreds of greeting
cards this holiday season.  I still have a few more
to go.

Well, it eventually had to happen.  Like many
of my friends, I’m shifting my focus AWAY from
the “Internet marketing” niche.  I’ll still share
my knowledge with those really ready to learn to
build a business, but it will be almost exclusively
inside my inner circle membership site.

A bit of history…

I first came online back in 1996, and by 1998
had drifted into the cooking niche.  I eventually
wrote a cookbook, which is still my single best-seller
to this day.

By late 2002, that cookbook was doing so well that
I was invited to speak at an Internet marketing
seminar on what I was doing to sell so many
cookbooks.

Here’s the secret…

I was using the very same commonly-taught “internet
marketing techniques” to sell so many cookbooks.

You see, many of the things being taught in internet
marketing DO work. It’s just that the internet
marketing niche is so crowded, jaded, and filled with
hype, that they don’t work as well there as they do
in other places.

The seminar that I spoke at in December 2002, was
also the FIRST seminar that I ever attended.

I have a confession to make… I was instantly hooked
on seminar speaking, and the networking that goes on

Like many Americans, my family is busy preparing
for Thanksgiving tonight. However, I couldn’t
resist the urge to drop by my favorite discussion

And I am a bit of a workaholic

certain products we see being marketed today
simply over-priced.

The discussion takes several twists and turns, making
many valid points, but as importantly, caused me to
laugh out loud… REAL loud

In recent discussions with friends and associates,
I mentioned that I actually focus MORE on selling
holiday related items than I do internet marketing
type stuff at this time of the year.

They asked for examples.

Most major manufacturers and department stores
now seem to have affiliate programs, so you can
market everything from toys, electronics, and
clothing, to higher end luxury items and vacations.

I keep it very simple…

I wrote a cookbook back in 2001 that was a hit
from the very start, and has sold steadily every
year since then.  I noticed long ago that I sell
more copies of that cookbook between Halloween
and New Years Day than the rest of the year combined,
so that’s what I focus on this time of the year
instead of how-to-make-money products.

My cookbook’s success is actually what first
brought me to the attention of the Internet
Marketing world.  I was first invited to speak at
a seminar back in December 2002 because I was an
example of someone doing well with a product
OUTSIDE the how-to-make-money niche.

This year, in addition to my own cookbook, I’m
marketing my friend, Ron Douglas’ cookbook, which
features favorite “secret” restaurant recipes.

Ron’s book started out as an ebook, went to #1
on Clickbank and more or less has stay there for
the past SIX years.  This year, a conventional
publisher picked up Ron’s book, so the print
version is doing very well, and Ron’s is on
Home Shopping Network very frequently… as well
as doing countless media appearances.

So, cookbooks are HUGE business,and make great
holiday gifts.

I’ll also do VERY well this year marketing
greeting cards.  These aren’t boxed greeting cards,
but cards that customer designs online, enters
a mailing address, etc., and then the company
prints out a full color greeting card and mails
it anywhere in the world, using first-class
postage.

They offer the option of allowing you to upload
an entire database to their system, and then
send everyone the same card… but personalized.

When you design the card, you put in placeholders,
such as names, birthdays, anniversaries,
spouses names, etc., and as the cards are printed,
each one is personalized.

I can “mail” 400 or so cards to my list in about
15 minutes… and for less than $1 each.

They have an affiliate program that pays on several
levels too, so I not only use the system (and have
for about 4 years) but I get paid for telling
others about it.

If you’re in the internet marketing niche, and have
