I’ve noticed a disturbing trend in my beloved
Internet marketing niche that I thought I’d bring
up here.
I’m NOT one to ignore the elephant sitting in the
middle of the living room, especially when he’s
wrecking havock every which way he turns.
I’ve notice TWO disturbing trends among my peers,
only one of which I’ll address here.
The first trend, which I won’t address here, is the
willingness of many internet marketers to promote
anything under the sun as long as it promise a
quick buck. I only have three words for you…

The second trend is actually just between internet
marketers seeking joint ventures and reciprocal
relationships.
Many internet marketers are coming to me seeking JV’s,
and when I ask for reciprocity, they are agreeing to
promote one of my quality product if I promote theirs.
Actually, that product as often as not, is one of my
clients’ products. My clients range from the internet
marketing LEGEND Mark Joyner to people who only came
online 6 months ago…but have extensive real world]
experince in building a world-class business.
These JV partners come to me seekig reciprocal promotions,
and I’ll make NO secret of the fact that if you want me
to promote one of your products, I’m very likely to ask
for a reciprocal promotion.
However, what’s actually happening is that I promote
their product… generating a TON of sales for them.
They in turn, post about my product on Twitter or
do a mailing to a list that they haven’t touched in 2
years. That’s unacceptable, and plain dishonest.
So, not only am I ranting about people who do this,
BUT, I’m going to share that data amongst my friends,
and I may even share it here on my blog.
Be warned. Be fair in all of your dealings. All who
are touched by them should benfefit!
