One of my subscribers read my email, and interpreted it as saying
that if you haven’t done something, you aren’t qualified to teach

That wasn’t what I said, but I DO believe that if you haven’t
done something or spent a LOT of time studying the topic, and
testing out what you study, then you don’t know that you are
teaching something that works. In that context, you WOULD be

I grew up on a farm, on government subsistence, in extreme
poverty, with no role-models who ran large successful businesses.
All of the guys in my neighborhood who managed to escape the
cycle-of-poverty, seemed to join the military… and go off and
see the world. Even there, practically all of them enlisted, and
therefore didn’t often get into top leadership positions.

I was the first person in my family to go to college, the first
officer in the family (where I later got to rub elbows with even
4-star generals), the first to publish a book (now several
books), and the first to do many other things.

I honestly believe that you can do ANYTHING that you set your
mind to… and that you should NOT let anyone discourage you.

In fact, I spend a lot of time teaching people how to CHANGE
their mindset… if they don’t already believe that they CAN do
anything. I’ve sent out over 3 million emails and spent
hundreds of hours encouraging people to learn how to actually
understand and harness the Law of Attraction for example.

I HIGHLY encourage YOU to step outside your comfort zone, and not
let ANYONE tell you what you can’t do. I honestly believe that

I was taught that if you spend just an hour or two a day studying
ANY topic, you can become a real expert on the topic in just a
few months at the most.

Most people aren’t willing to put in even a few hours of genuine
study… they try to take short-cuts, and that does doom many of
them to failure… or at-least mediocrity.

On the topic of being a genuine expert… part of the reason that
MOST will fail if they try to teach something that they don’t
understand is because we humans are electromagnetic
creatures. We can sense the electrical impulses, or “energy” of
others, and so we can tell when someone isn’t being genuine.

We all understand that intuitively. That’s also why I teach
people to TRUST YOUR INTUITION. If you really listen to that
tiny voice in the back of your head, it won’t lead you wrong.

If you really listen to that voice inside of you, it will
actually encourage you to go out and DO anything that you really
want to do… BUT it will also guide you down the right path.

I’ve learned to trust my intuition 100%. It has NEVER mislead
me. The only time that I have made mistakes is when I didn’t
listen to my intuition.

Things that are undervalued by other internet
marketers are often HIGHLY valued by local business
owners because they don’t know how to do them…
and because they don’t have the time or inclination
to learn how to do them.

They do have advertising budgets in the hundreds of
thousands of dollars per years. They know that they
HAVE to spend this money to stay in business.

Your job is simply to show them how spending those
advertising dollars with you provides a higher,
measurable, return-on-investment.

I’ve LITERALLY built thousands of websites, some very
simple 1-page sites, but YES I did say thousands.

Gradually, I noticed what was working like crazy,
and did more of that, and noticed what wasn’t working
and stopped doing that.

That second part of the formula above is what a lot
of people seem to miss. They keep trying to ride a
dead horse!

Today, I’m in several VERY profitable niches.

I do teach that you need to focus on one thing at a
time. I do that, but I set things up as a system, and
then I outsource the work. Once I find something that
works, and that can be systematized, I flow it out…
and then I hand most of the work off to others.

As you probably know, THE biggest oneline
marketing trend in history now is the local
business angle.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing because
the business owners do need the help, but
they need the right kind of help.
