The large list owner, or person with the customer base is
typically the host.

The person wanting access to that database is typically
the parasite since he wants to feed off the other.

That doesn’t sound that attractive to the potential host,
does it?

I see a lot of joint ventures being set up that do fit
that mold, but those are the harder ones to do. The
easier ones are more balanced, where both parties just
see it as in their best interest to work together.

When a joint venture just makes sense, then getting the

Many of us rarely focus on one task long enough to take
it all the way to profitable completion. It really is
that simple!

Email, phone calls, television, and Facebook… all throw
so many distractions in our way that it’s a wonder we ever
get ANYTHING done.

New ideas and opportunities come at some of us so fast that
we are constantly changing direction in mid-stream…
meaning we never reach any destination.

It’s no different in the offline world incidentally, where
only a tiny fraction of any business owner’s days is spent
doing anything that actually grows the business… or adds
to the bottom line.

What’s the solution?

Let me share with you how I’m doing it, and why I can say
with complete confidence that I’m on my way to an 8-figure
year!

I personally often unplug the phone, close my office door,
and just focus on completing one project for an hour or two.
I don’t try to focus on one thing for more than an hour or
two at a time because after that productivity often drops off,
and I usually can get more done in an hour of intense focus
than I can in a day of constant distractions and interruptions!

So I often work in 1-hour increments, with short, scheduled
breaks in-between.

I also often grab my laptop and wireless card, and go work
on a fairly isolated beach or in some other place that is
relatively quiet but also inspiring. That is how I stimulate
my creativity, and kick up my energy level.

I work in environments that a conducive to getting things
DONE.

For example, next month, I’ll be on a 5-day cruise with my
mastermind group. We’ll go from Tampa, Florida to Cozumel,
Mexico and back. I’m on the cruise because I’ll be traveling
with a group of 99 other VERY serious entrepreneurs (mostly
multimillionaires, with probably a billionaire or two
sprinkled in there). We will spend 5-days getting to know
each other and sitting around at tables on the deck of the
ship (eye-to-eye) making joint venture deals.

I’ll come off that cruise with probably 2 dozen joint
ventures already in motion, and having pushed numerous
previously-stalled, pre-existing projects along massively.

The cruise IS me working in a very conducive environment,
where I will be able to get a LOT done. I dare say I’ll
get more done in that five days than the average person will
get done in a month in their “normal” working environment.

On top of that, since I will be working, the cruise will
be tax-deductible

I know… you read the above and you think, “Not everyone
can work from the deck of a luxurious cruise ship Willie!”

I would ask, “Why not?”

This is how I’m actually getting through to my most-targeted,
highly-responsive customers. This is also how I’m growing
my database the fastest… with my ideal customers and clients.

Anyone who has been marketing online for more than a week
has probably heard that they should build a list and then
follow-up with them building a trusting relationship and
offering them products and services that they need.

I’ve been doing that for the past 15 years, and have actually
built a database of over 1.4 MILLION subscribers, scattered
across numerous niches.

We’ve also read somewhere that when you DO manage to build
that list, that it’s worth about $1 per subscriber per month.

First of all, I’m here to tell you that that is definitely
NOT the case for most of the niches that I’m in.
