4 Stealthy Sources Of Powerful Internet Marketing Intelligence
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

In online marketing it is critical that you keep up with what is
going on in your industry. You do need to know who is doing
what - and why they are doing it. You do need to take the
time to research potential joint venture partners, products,
and competing businesses.

Here are four excellent tools and how to use them.

1) Internet Archive - Also known as “The Way Back Machine”
at http://Archive.org

There are actually many facets to this amazing site but the
feature that I use most is the ability to look at a historical
snapshot of a website/domain.

There is a box on the site where you can enter any url, and it
will show you “snapshots” taken of that website over time.

For example, if your were to enter my domain
“williecrawford.com” you’d see be able to sift through actual
archived pages from my website between December 1998 and today.
Every week or two a new snapshot of the site was taken and
stored in the Archive.org database.

That lets you confirm how long a website has been online
(provided it was archived), lets you see how a business evolved
over time, and will even reveal to you things a marketer may
have been testing that perhaps didn’t work out.

I use this tool to confirm how long a site/person has been in
business. I also use it to confirm how long a person has
actually been in a particular niche or discipline. I use it in
deciding who to actually form business relationships with.

If you discover practices contrary to your own standards, or
that a potential business partner hasn’t been totally honest
with you, then you certainly want to proceed with caution…
or look deeper.

2) Google Alerts - At http://www.google.com/alerts/

You can set an alert to have Google notify you via email any
time that it finds a new occurrence of a term online (on a
webpage, blog, etc.)

I set alerts for my name, my product names, my urls, and
competitors’ names/products/urls.

Any time the system finds someone “talking about” the target
term, it will send you an email (at whatever frequency you
specify) notifying you of the new finds.

Once a day, I get emails notifying me of where my target terms
has just been discovered. This points you to places where you
are being blogged about, mentioned in articles, discussed on
forums, etc.

It could alert you to positive or negative publicity that you
want to be aware of.

3) Tweet Beeps - Similar To Google Alerts, Only On Twitter.com

Found at http://tweetbeep.com/ I use Tweet Beeps the same way
that I use Google Alerts. Any time that my target phrases are
found in ANY Twitter posts, I get a notification.

That will point out to you discussions that you may want to join
for various reasons, to include “damage control,” thanking them
for a nice compliment, to answer questions about your product,
etc.

One creative way to use Tweet Beeps would be to ask those
“tweeting” positive things about your product for testimonials,
or to become your affiliates.

4) International Association Of Joint Venture Brokers

Found at http://IAJVB.ORG, The International Association of
Joint Venture Brokers is a collection of joint venture brokers,
super affiliates, product owners, publishers, and webmasters
who use the site to keep track of product launches.

The site is a database of upcoming and ongoing product launches,
live events, tele-events, and even free giveaways.

Members of the site enter their events into the database as an
easy way to recruit new affiliates AND to let other members know
that they are “claiming” a given launch date.

Savvy affiliates search through the database looking for product
launches in their niche. They understand that when you know
about an upcoming launch a month or more in advance, you can do
things to gain a tremendous advantage in the search engines before
most other affiliates EVER hear rumors of the launch.

During many product launches, your potential customers often go
to the search engines to see what reviewers have to say about a
given product.

Affiliates who knew about, and obtained a review copy of a product
a month in advance, will have their reviews listed at the top of
the search engines, getting sales from people who are not even on
their lists… or have ever previously visited their websites.

Members pull up the listings of other launches planned in their
niche and use that information to plan when they will do their own
launch. This keeps them from going “head-to-head” with big
launches that would otherwise drown out their own.

This also shows them launches that they could perhaps piggyback on.

They can often get mention of their product INCLUDED in an upcoming
product, or they can plan on releasing their product just as the
commotion from a big launch is dying down.

Perhaps your product does the same thing as product with a huge
launch planned, but your product is cheaper. You could time your
launch to catch potential customers who have a heightened awareness
of the problem that your product solves, but who couldn’t afford
the other product. You can sell to a lot of customers who actually
feel POWERFUL resentful towards the product that they wanted but
couldn’t afford.

As you can see good intelligence is extremely valuable. You
absolutely must know what is going on in your niche. Fortunately,
with the above four tools, it’s very easy.

Please Use This Ethically :-)

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Over the years, I’ve studied many incredibly effective
marketing tactics.

I even went through a VERY intense $30,000 weekend
training session where I was immersed in powerful
neurolinguistic techniques. Some of these soooo take
control of a person’s subconscious mind that I had to
PROMISE never to use them unethically.

People do often respond to subconscious commands
completely without any choice.

It’s powerful stuff!

Here’s a really quick video that shows how to build a
“pressure stack” that nearly FORCES your prospects to
buy from you.

It shows the power of learning and harnessing basic
human behavior.

I know… it sounds pretty intense… even scary.

As long as you use it ethically, it can make you very
rich.

Used properly, this will actually make your prospects LOVE
you.

It’s crazy stuff.

Product Launch Formula Selling Out Soon Plus More Bonuses

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

If you read my bonus offer posted here earlier, that’s still good.
However, Frank Kern and Eben Pagan both just contacted Jeff
to offer their OWN bonuses to everyone who gets Product
Launch Formula 2.1+ from ANY affiliate.

Here’s the note from Jeff to me:

Check this out…

I just had two calls come into my cell phone…
normally on launch day I’m not going to be
answering my phone.

But this was different - one call was Frank Kern
and the other was Eben Pagan. They were checking
in to see how my re-open was going.

NOW this is the cool part - both of them offered
MAJOR bonuses for everyone who jumps onboard PLF
2.1+. This includes everyone who already signed
up, as well as all the people who squeeze in
before we close the doors.

The FIRST bonus with Frank Kern is a live webinar
where Frank is going to reveal his new “Crowd
Control” material. He has NEVER revealed this
publicly (although he’s told me about it in
private… it’s crazy stuff).

Frank’s going to teach Crowd Control in a high-end
course next year… but everyone who signs up for
PLF 2.1+ will get this webinar with Frank and I as
a free bonus.

This is seriously powerful stuff.

The SECOND bonus with Eben Pagan is a full-length
webinar with Eben and I, and we’re going to break
down his a recent million-dollar launch. We’ll
take it step-by-step through the entire launch,
from start to finish. IE, we’ll take you right
inside one of the most effective launches in
history.

(And yes, if you already signed up today… you
will get these EXTRA bonuses… EVERYONE who gets
in on PLF 2.1+ will get it.)

I’m really excited about these UBER-bonuses…
because I’m going to be learning just as much from
them as any of my PLF Owners. Here’s my link:

Product Launch Formula For The Non-Guru’s

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

Last month was crazy… my inbox was STUFFED with
all kinds of promotions for those big
MEGA-LAUNCHES.

I’m sure all those guys made a million bucks with
their launch.

But the thing I keep wondering is what happens to
the little guy? Can just plain regular folks win
with those kinds of launches?

Well I just saw a short video that gives the FINAL
answer on that question. And I have to admit, I
found it really shocking.

I mean a guy with a crazy obscure niche going from
the food stamps line to a six figure income?

Go watch the video now:

http://P-L-Formula.com

But before you go… one more thing: you don’t
need to enter your email address to see the video
- it’s completely free. But MAKE SURE that you do
enter your email address anyway… the follow up
“case study” is even better than this first video.

Secret Affiliate Code That Lets Non-Gurus Win Affiliate
Sales Contests

Craig Beckta, helicopter mechanic turned internet
marketer has figured out a system that allow him to
make more affiliate sales than many well-known marketers
with bigger lists, busy websites, and big-dog friends.

Craig’s below-the-radar tactics are so effective that
I noticed he was often consistently outranking me for
my target keywords in some major product launches, so
I HAD to figure out what he was doing. When I contacted
him, not only did he reveal his secrets, he wrote down
his “Secret Affiliate Code” and asked if I’d be part
of a product package where he explained it. He noticed
that I used similar stealth marketing tactics.

Discover the traffic sucking, sales generating secret
affiliate tactics of Craig Beckta.

The Secret To Totally Trouncing Gurus Marketers At Their Own Game…

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

I can’t talk too much about this yet. But just be on the
lookout for a personal email from me.

Because in just 48 hours you’ll be receiving an email
with an exclusive link to the Secret Affiliate Code 2.

That’s right, my buddy Craig cracked the code that finally
levels the playing field so even you can compete with the
big-shot mega-marketers.

Got your attention now?

I’m talking about brand new tactics to get free Google traffic!

And even tons of free traffic that has nothing at all to do
with Google!

And free traffic means your sales potential is almost unlimited!

I’m talking about a pile of money just waiting for “regular”
affiliates like you.

And here’s the best part. You don’t even have to know a thing
right now.

Still it will get you on the fast track to building your online
fortune as an affiliate.

Secret Affiliate Code 2 was produced by a guy who was just sick
and tired of all the bull.

Sick and tired of failing at everything in his life INCLUDING
affiliate marketing.

So he tore the whole system apart and started over…

Streamlining the process and inventing brand new ways to do
things you didn’t even know you could do.

I don’t get this excited too often. But Craig’s really struck
a chord here.

Imagine making the kind of money that used to be set aside for
the giant marketers!

Now imagine making that kind of money week in and week out.

That’s what Craig is claiming with The Secret Affiliate Code 2!

Working maybe an hour a day and making hundreds or even thousands
of dollars… Easily running your own business in less time
than it would take you to drive to your old job.

This looks like the one.

I just got my preview copy and I’m gonna read it tonight and let you
know. I’m at JV Alert Las Vegas, and this has me excited enough
to read it rather than having a night on the town.

Heck, I even passed up Harris Fellman’s birthday party!

The link you need to click on is at:

http://WillieCrawford.com/Code2/

Craig has just released a video with shocking video proof of
massive affiliate commissions…

You’re hearing about this offer way before most of your
competition.

I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.

You’re getting an early peek ;-)

What Failing Marketers Miss In Requesting Joint Ventures

What Failing Marketers Miss In Requesting Joint Ventures
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

As I travel from seminar to seminar, and meet people new
to internet marketing, I witness a lot of people quickly
discovering the power of setting up joint ventures.

Many of these people understand that if they could get large
list owners (and people with busy websites) to recommend
their products, they could make a lot of sales really fast.

They understand that one big joint venture partner can make
or break a product launch.

They understand that one successful product launch can propel
them to an incredible level of success.

So the light bulb comes on, and the marketers start trying
to figure out how to set up join ventures. They start
tracking down prospects left and right, and frantically
trying to set up those lucrative joint ventures.

However, most of the newer internet marketers completely
miss the most important part. They neglect to consider
what the wants and needs of their potential joint venture
partners are.

They “know” that they have a great product (or a great
product idea) and they believe that a lot of people will
want and benefit from it.

They also believe that all of the potential joint venture
partners on their “hit list” will absolutely love their
joint venture proposals.

What they fail to consider is:

1) These potential joint partners already have projects
that they are launching -their own or their clients.’

2) These potential joint venture partners already have
their own products that they are trying to sell and are
even looking for joint partners for.

3) These joint venture partners are often constantly
being approached by dozens of others seeking the same
type of joint ventures that you seek.

4) These potential joint venture partners, if they are in
the same niche, may already have a product that competes
directly with yours.

Identifying these all-to-common mistakes, you can now avoid
making them, and in the process dramatically increase your
chances of getting a “YES” to your joint venture proposal.

Just having that knowledge gives you a huge potential
advantage over the hordes of others seeking joint ventures
with the same potential joint venture partners.

However, having that knowledge is not enough - you need to
actually use it.

Setting up lucrative joint ventures is not really an
insurmountable challenge. It just involves framing your
offer in terms of how it will benefit your potential joint
venture partners.

It has to answer the question “Why would I spend time
promoting your products rather than focusing on my own?”

Very few less-experienced internet marketers answer that
question, or are even aware that this is what’s really on
potential joint venture partners’ minds.

Now you have a distinct advantage. You know what many
marketers miss in requesting joint ventures. Your next
step is to use that knowledge. It really is that simple.

An Important Heartfelt Note From Willie Crawford

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Yesterday, I attended the first day of Armand Morin’s
Big Seminar, in Atlanta, Georgia.

I had a blast, learned a lot, and actually had a hard
time forcing myself to go to bed in the middle of the
night.

The late-night conversation with friends (old and new)
was that good. It also confirmed to me that I am on the
right path with my online business.

It should be obvious to you that, when you start an
online businesses, there are probably thousands of
products that you “could” sell. The first question you
have to answer for yourself is who is your market, and
how are you going to serve them.

Far to many people ask the wrong question there, and
so they end up TRYING to sell the wrong products. I
did say TRYING because they also end up making no sales.

My friend Marlon Sanders pointed out the answer to that
question the first time that I saw him on stage, back
in 2003. He said, “Whatever they’re buying, I’m selling!”

Marlon also said “Dead Ducks Don’t Quack” meaning, “stop
trying to sell people things that they don’t want!”

Yes, five years ago Marlon’s answers to

“What do you sell?

and

“Who do you sell it to?”

still ring loud and clear.

What struck me last night is how disillusioned the people
were who hadn’t answered the very basic question of who
they were serving and what did those people really want.

Without answering that question, you are doomed to waste
a lot of time jumping from product to product, and trying
to convince people that they want something that those
people are already convinced that they DON’T want.

I don’t think that you want to fall into that trap.

You see it every day online.

That’s why you see some people pitching a new product
practically every time that you hear from them. They’re
searching for something that sells, and they haven’t quiet
found it :-)

That’s why the conversation last night soooo convinced me
that I’m on the right path.

You see, on Monday, October 6th, at 8-10pm EST, I’m teaching
a teleclass on just that topic. It’s the first in a 6-week
teleclass series on how to launch or relaunch your own
products via joint ventures.

I KNOW that you have to do your research and VERY clearly
identify what it is that your market is SCREAMING at you…
TELLING you that they want, and will happily pay for. My
entire first 2-hour session will focus on that and how you
actually do that research.

You don’t really have a lot of people teach this because not
many people know how to do it properly. They can’t teach
you something that… deep down inside… they have to admit
to themselves that they don’t know how to do.

It is the most important part of the puzzle though.

It’s how you set up an online business with long-term
viability.

The MAORITY of the internet marketers that I know, including
many of the “gurus” never really answered that “first” question.

That’s why so many struggle.

Last night it became clear to me that if I help just a few
people to start off with the RIGHT first step, and therefore
avoid years of needless anguish, I will have done a very good
thing for the world. I’ll be able to sit in my beach chair,
gazing at the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, near my house, and
know that I’ve actually helped people.

To me that’s what it’s all about. It’s about providing a
service that people actually need and want!

I hope that you’ll join my teleclass on Monday. The other
5 weekly sessions will cover the things that you typically
think of when you think of setting up joint ventures (such
as how to find lots of willing joint venture partners).

None of the other efforts really matter though if you don’t
have a product that the market actually wants and is willing to
pay for!

5 Common Joint Venture Mistakes Internet Marketers Make

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

5 Common Joint Venture Mistakes Internet Marketers Make
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

As a joint venture broker, and mentor to many marketers
launching new products, I see a lot of Internet marketers
making many of the same mistakes.

Some of these easy-to-correct mistakes can mean the difference
between a wildly successful launch, and one that doesn’t even
sell enough of the product to cover development costs.

Here are five all-to-common mistakes that can kill a joint
venture product launch before it even gets out of the
staring blocks.

1) Making Joint Venture Partners Jump Through Hoops

Often the super affiliates and busy website owners that you
approach won’t go through an elaborate sign-up process to
register as an affiliate/JV partner. Some will love your
product idea and begin to sign-up as an affiliate, but as
soon as they see that they need to register (and confirm)
in numerous different places, many will NOT complete the
registration process.

If they need 20 passwords, and all kinds of secret
handshakes just to peek at a review copy of your product,
many will not waste their time.

It’s your job to make it NO work for your joint venture
partners. Sign them up, send them their log-in information,
and only ask them to verify their details.

Provide them with a fully-functioning FINAL version of
your product for them to review so that they can decide
if it’s even appropriate for their customers.

2) Not Giving Joint Venture Partners Enough Lead Time

Many busy super affiliates have promotional calendars
flowed out over a month in advance. Some have commitments
with partners that go out for several months.

If you request a joint venture with less than two weeks lead
time, you should EXPECT most affiliates to politely decline
to participate… or even not to respond to such an
unprofessional request.

3) Not Deconflicting Launch Dates.

There is nothing sadder than planning a “big” launch, putting
all of the pieces in place, and then finding out a few days
before that “Mr. Big” also has a launch planned for the same
day. It’s even worse if “Mr. Big” has already recruited
your desired JV partners to promote his launch.

The way to avoid this one is to tap into launch databases
such as the one maintained by The International Association
of Joint Venture Brokers (at http://IAJVB.ORG)

4) Not Answering The “WIIFM” For Potential Joint Venture
Partners

Your potential joint venture partners have LOTS of potential
products to promote. So they silently wonder why they should
promote yours over a competitor’s product. It’s your job to
answer that question and many other “silent questions” in
order to recruit the joint venture partners.

In answering the “What’s In It For Me” (WIIFM) you need to
explain how it’s going to help them, help their customers,
and you need to frame all of your answers from their
perspective. Potential joint venture partners, and their
customers, don’t care about you and your products. They care
about what you can do for them.

5) Having A Product That No One Wants

It doesn’t matter how original, clever, cheap, or needed a
product is - if the market doesn’t want it, you have a flop.
If your potential joint venture partners sense that their
customers won’t buy it, they’ll logically decline promoting
your product.

Far too many products are created that the market doesn’t
want, or wants but is unwilling to pay for.

You absolutely MUST do your market research first and
verify that the market really wants and will buy your
proposed product. Better still, they should be already buying
a similar product.

Look carefully at your joint venture project plans. If they
have any of these glaring mistakes, correct them before
approaching potential joint venture partners. You’ll
have much better results, and you’ll be glad that you read
this article.

What The Heck Is Parasite Hosting?

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

I just finished going though a really nice 13 video
collection on how to set up webpages on parasite
hosting
and generate an absolute FLOOD of backlinks,
traffic, and orders to your target sites.

I’ll let you in on a secret…

Before going through the videos, I had no idea that
this was something that I had already been doing.

In the past few months I’ve been one of the top affiliates
for numerous product promotions. Ones that you may
be familiar with include Jeff Walker’s Product Launch
Formula 2, and Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind.

I did well enough promoting Jeff’s course that I got
invited to an exclusive mastermind sessions in Las
Vegas.

I DID use parasite hosting to help accomplish this!

I did well enough promoting Yaro’s course that I was
one of his top 10 affiliates, and I even landed an
interview - now I’m featured on Yaro’s high traffic
blog. That wasn’t a prize for promoting the course as
much as a result of meeting Yaro at Jeff’s mastermind,
but I’m sure it didn’t hurt that I promoted so effectively!

I DID use parasite hosting to help accomplish this!

The video course that I just finished going through
will undoubtedly allow me to even better in other
promotions that I’m involved with.

As I said, the course is 13 videos (112 Megabytes)
of very in-depth how to set up and optimize parasite
hosting.

To answer your question, “What Is Parasite Hosting?”
I’ll briefly quote from the PDF ebook that’s a part of
the package.

“Parasite hosting is simply put, a popular website
that allows people to setup their own pages right
on the website itself. I would like to share an
analogy with you:

Let’s say that you would like to open up a retail
store that sells shoes. Let’s also say that you
live in a small town. Where would you rather open
your shop, down a dark alley where no one even
travels, or at the center of your busy mall? Of
course it would make sense to open at the mall!

When you build your own website, it is kind of
like setting up a shop in the dark part of town.
No one knows about it, and the search engines
don’t even travel through that “part of town”.
Think about how great it would be if you could
also setup a “satellite” shop in the local mall.
This could be a way to take advantage of all of
the mall’s traffic and reputation, while helping
to get your site recognized.

This is exactly what parasite hosting does.

These videos are something that you need if you
market ANYTHING online.

Here’s the insane part…

The entire 112 megabyte package is only $4.95

Get it here, before they come to their senses and
raise the price to a more reasonable $47!
