Internet Marketing On A Shoestring Budget - Part 1

The current economic recession is causing many people
starting online businesses to make some tough decisions.
Often these are also BAD decisions.

During tough times, businesses traditionally cut the
one expense that they often DON’T need to cut… which
is advertising. Instead you just need to spend wiser,
and you will gain market-share BECAUSE your competitors
are cutting back.

Still, many online marketers today are looking for ways to
grow their businesses on a shoestring budget.

One of the most obvious ways is to go out and find things that
you need for your business that you can get for free.

For example, unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past
year, it’s difficult not to notice all of the free
cooperative list-building giveaways being organized by
internet marketers.

Sometimes, hundreds of marketers come together and each
contributes one (or several) free items. They list all of
their items on one central website, but usually require you
to visit the individual contributors’ sites to download each
item.

The gift contributors are willing to do this because it’s
a proven effective way to build their subscriber lists.

You can find free:

- Ebooks and courses
- MP3 audios
- Videos
- Access to membership sites
- Advertising credits
- Resale Rights Products that will readily sell
- Private Label Rights Products that you can rework and
turn into best-sellers
- Software that allows you to operate your business more
efficiently and effectively.
- A tons of other free items…

There is one BIG problem with free stuff though… you often
get what you pay for. Sifting though all of the freebies to
find the gems is often more trouble than it’s worth.

It does take time to examine this stuff and determine

I actually feel like I fall in that category :-)

Listen In On A Product Launch Strategy Session!

My friend Howie Schwartz has done an insane number
of product launches lately.

In fact, I can’t remember when he WASN’T in the middle
of a product launch recently.

As an aside, he walked up to me Rich Schefren’s seminar
at Disney, earlier this year, and he handed me a gift bag.
When I opened the bag, there was an iPod in it with a
pre-loaded video that had a JV proposal.

Before the law of reciprocity… and guilt could even
sink in, Howie emailed me to tell me that he was
joining the Stompernet staff and had sold that product
to them :-)

Anyway, Howie’s currently doing a launch with Eric
Rockefeller on top of pre-launching a product on doing
product launches.

I’m really focused on just one of two projects for the
rest of the year, but I learn a lot from watching Howie
in action.

I Couldn’t Pull Myself Away From Watching This - Howie’s Mad!

Which Product Launch To Notice - Which To Ignore!

Today is going to be a very busy day in the internet
marketing niche. Part of that is due to two HUGE
launches.

I AM an affiliate for both of those products, but other
than telling you that they are both “solid” products,
that WILL do all they promise, IF you use them, I don’t
want to add to the noise.

If you have ANY questions about ANY ongoing product
launch
, I probably know all of the behind-the-scenes
details. I’m invited in on many product launches
a month or two in advance. For example, I was invited
(as a guest) at the recent $10k Las Vegas seminar that
you undoubtedly have heard about.

I also often sift through the International Association
of Joint Venture Brokers
‘ database, and look at what’s
on the horizon that I haven’t been told about
previously.

The reason I do that is because ONE of the BIG secrets
to making more sales in many big affiliate product
launches is finding out about them early. The reason
that is significant is because Google often ranks older
pages higher. So if you get up a page promoting a
product FIRST, you’ll often make sales on launch day
just because those searching on the product name on
launch day will come across your listing.
