Are You Fooling Yourself By Saying “You’ll Do It Next Week?”

I’m a person who will gets an idea for a product, maps it
out, and often a day later, have a product online.

In other words I don’t over-think things.

Like my dear friend, Dr. Mani, I acknowledge that not
everything that I do is going to be a winner. Some things
will be failures, some will be marginally successful, some
will be fairly successful, and others will be wildly
successful.

The “homeruns”… the wildly successful things are
admittedly fairly rare… but I get a lot of things that
are fairly successful… “singles” if you will. I get my
share of winners.

The fairly successful things are what keep me going,
and keep me not afraid to do it today.

The homeruns get all of the press and publicity, and
make up for all of the failures and marginal successes.

I get so many emails from people who over-analyze things
and tell themselves that they’re going to do it “next
week”… as if they’re suddenly going to develop the
discipline and get into action.

Next week is NOT the time to do it… today is!

New Instant Commission Marketplace For Digital Products, Services And Even Physical Products

Today, I interviewed Bill Ortell and his partner Eric
on the new RAPBank mall, a digital marketplace that
you can join for free.

link and start promoting products in a wide variety of
niches.

use the system but my bigger interest was in how merchants
can use the system since I am a prolific product creator.

I noticed the system because it provides a ready poor
of affiliates ready to promote your product. Many are
attracted by the fact that as soon as you make a sale,

One thing that came out of the discussion was that you
can not only sell digitally downloadable products via

The Easiest Way To Get Your Affiliates To Do Another Mailing For You

It’s no secret that, for MOST affiliate programs MOST
affiliates produce little to NO results. Most just
register, and then simply do nothing!

In fact, in most affiliate programs where I’ve been
privy to the stats, the top 3-5% produced 95% of sales.

Most affiliates who sign up, but never promote, probably
had every intention of promoting at one time. Why else
would they have bothered registering?

This can be very frustrating for the affiliate program
operator who sees this huge pool of potentially active
promoters… who could be generating a LOT of sales.

Here’s one tactic to get those inactive affiliates to
promote, AND to get those who’ve already promoted,
to promote again…

Simply have some new tools created and get them into
the affiliates hands.  This does two things:

1) For those who’ve already promoted and consider
the existing tools old/stale, it gives them
something new to use.

2) The fact that you have new tools gives you another
“excuse” to contact all of your affiliates.  You should
be emailings and motivating your affiliates regularly
anyway, but many who operate affiliate programs don’t…
for whatever reason.

Simply send out an update email, which among other things,
points out a new tool… perhaps a fresh new solo
mailing.

*** Include the new tool in the mailing, and make sure
that it already has the affiliates’ links embedded.

You need to make it as easy as possible for your
affiliates to promote.  Make it so easy that NOT
promoting will feel like they are leaving money on
the table.

Make it so easy that promoting will feel almost like
an “impulse action.”  Think of the impulse items in
a supermarket…near the register… and how often people
buy just because it is so convenient.  Make doing another
mail that easy for your affiliates.

I sometimes work as a JV Broker, and have learned that
one of the reasons JV partners don’t promote more,
or more often, is that the product owner often makes
them jump through hoops to get promotional tools, etc.

Putting joint ventures together, both online and
offline is one of the most lucrative businesses that
I know. However, it’s knowing little tips like the
one I just shared with you that can easily TRIPLE
the bottom-line in a JV deal.

Are You An Internet Marketer STUCK At Selling $3 - $7 Products?

I was going to title this note “Are You An
Internet Marketing WIMP Afraid To Market
Anything More Expensive Than $7″ but the
title felt too long, and it also struck me
as somewhat impolite.

The reality is that many online marketers
rarely offer their lists any item more
expensive than $3 - $7.

I’m NOT knocking $7 products - I’ve created
some. I am suggesting that most people who
invest a lot of time and money, and figure
out an easy way to make an extra $300,000 per
year, are not going to sell it to you (and
their competitors) for $7.

So those inexpensive products often lack
credibility… unless it’s clear why they are
so in expensive. For example, my inexpensive
products are often list-builders… and a way
to point out more comprehensive products!

More importantly, if you have loftier income
(and life-style) goals, you’ll never get there
$5 at a time.

I also want to “smack you across the head”
with the FACT that there are members of your
list BUYING products in the $497 -  $10,000
price range today.  You’re missing those sales
because you don’t offer those products.

Just look at some of the recent big ticket
product launches.

As long as your customers actually USE the
products long enough for them to have time
to work, those products are often a great
investment.   They push your customers
forward at an accelerated pace.

So the question becomes, “How do you actually
SELL big ticket products.” After all, they do
“look” harder to sell to many people.

I thought that you’d never ask :-)

My New Top 10 Free Website Traffic Generation Methods - Part 1

In 2008, I wrote an ebook that revealed my most effective
methods of generating free website traffic. As online
conditions and technologies change, I feel it’s now time
to update that ebook.

However, instead of revealing my new top 10 free website
traffic generation methods in ebook format, I’m going to do
it in a 10-part article series.

While I do list these methods in order of my preference,
it’s not necessarily by which ones produce the most traffic.
Instead, I list them also considering which  produce the
highest quality traffic, and therefore adds the most to my
bottom-line.

Let’s get started…

My number one favorite method of generating free website
traffic is via an affiliate program.  I like releasing
simple, inexpensive products that pay as much as 100%
commission on the front-end.  Properly done, this can create
thousands of affiliates all working frantically to send you
highly-qualified BUYING traffic.

They find and send you traffic that you wouldn’t otherwise
have, and you reward them for doing so.

There are a number of keys to making this most effective,
and I see many people who attempt this tactic missing
some of the most important elements.  Those keys are:

1) You want to make managing the whole system as easy
as possible.  If your system is too burdensome, you won’t
use it for very long.  I use the Rapid Action Profits
system, developed by my friend Sid Hale, to manage this
affiliate program. I use it because once I set up a site,
RAP makes management practically hands-free.  The script
can be configured to pay any percentage commission that you
desire on a front-end and/or back-end product.

The beauty of the system is that when a sale is made,
the affiliate is paid instantly directly to their Paypal
account, and the customer is redirected to a download
page.  At that point, my affiliate has sent me that
prized traffic, but as importantly, is also building me
a mailing list.

2) You need to also have a good back-end product in-place.
I typically have a second product that I offer
immediately after that first sale. You can offer
affiliates any percentage commission on this sale,
and I often don’t offer any since I’ve given them all
of the money from the front-end sale.

The key though, is that if you do offer a back-end
product (or one-time-offer) you will often get a major
percentage of customer take it.  So, if you don’t have
that offer in place, you’re leaving behind much of
your profits.

3) You need to have follow-up in place.  It does little
good to build that list if you don’t later follow-up
with them.  Another reason that I like using Rapid
Action Profits is that it builds a database right within
the software.

Since some web hosting companies limit the number of
emails that you can send from their servers (at one time),
RAP also offers the capability for automatically
building your list on a third-party system (such as
Aweber.com or ProfitAutomation.com).

I have at least 30 sites built using RAP. Those are all
traffic generation systems.  Can you tell that I like

4) Here’s where a lot of people using this traffic
generation method cut corners, and fail…

You need to give affiliates lots of great tools so that
it’s really, REALLY easy for them to register as
affiliates and then promote like crazy.

Many of your affiliates won’t feel comfortable creating
tools on their own. So, if you don’t give them the
tools, they’ll end up doing nothing.  Tools should
include:
- Banners in a variety of sizes
- Solo emails
- Blog posts
- Tweets
- Classified ads (suitable for Google AdWords)

The tools should have the affiliates’ links automatically
inserted in the proper places - something RAP handles
beautifully.  If you force your affiliates to have to
track down links, and then manually edit the tools you
offer, many won’t bother.

5) Here’s how you make your traffic generator go viral…

Invite your customers to become affiliates after they
purchase.  I’ve seen many merchants put links to their
affiliate program right on the sales page. I don’t like
this technique since I feel that it can distract customers
that your affiliates worked hard to send you. So, I
don’t feel that it’s fair.

Instead, I put links to sign-up for the affiliate
program on my product download pages, AND often in the
products themselves.  Simply explain to customers that
they can register, promote the product, and earn instant
commissions.  This is very effective, especially when
you have all of those great affiliate tools in place.

It’s also very effective because the INSTANT commissions
helps those who need the cash now!

Ok, I’ve just shared with you my very favorite method
for generating free website traffic.  I basically get
others to send me the traffic, and then I have tools
in place to leverage that traffic.

How To Get Paid $17 Just For A Tweet…

The Absolute Truth About Affiliate Marketing

the truth is, I was blown away with the call in spite of this.

I figured I knew all Willie’s secret tactics, but it turns
out he’s been holding out on me all this time!

I heard stuff that he’s never even told me before!

My recommendation is to grab this audio and transcript right
now if you have any thoughts at all about wanting to sell
high ticket products in the future.
