Back when Jeff Walker first released Product Launch
Formula several years ago, he convinced people that they
could do a big product launch. He gave them a step-by-step
formula for doing a pre-launch, a launch, and even how to
keep sales rolling post-launch.
Fast-forward two years and the recession, and tons of
layoffs, pushed many people to stop procrastinating and
do that product launch that they had been contemplating
- NOW!
Many new product owners soon realized that they didn’t
know how to effectively recruit affiliates, and soon
thereafter discovered that JV Brokers could more effectively
recruit tons of affiliates for them.
I’ve been a JV broker for about five years 
I’d estimate that over 100 people have approached me about
brokering their product launch in the past year alone.
I had to say no to 95% of them even though many of them
had excellent products
I told them that I simply was already committed to all of
the product launches that I could orchestrate. Many of
them came back to me asking when COULD I fit them in,
and sadly, the answer was usually not within the next six
months.
JV Brokers typically charge 10% – 20% commission, and
sometimes an up-front fee, on the sales affiliates/JV partners
that they recruit generate. I usually charge an up-front fee for
example. I also often negotiate an exclusive contract where
I am the ONLY one allowed to recruit affiliates, meaning I
have a blank check in approaching super-affiliates… with
no competition from others trying to recruit them.
JV brokering is EXTREMELY lucrative though. On a one
million dollar launch, that 10-20% equates to $100,000 –
$200,000
I have a business partner, Sohail Khan, who earned over
$2 million from one joint venture that he orchestrate
recently, and it took him only about three months and VERY
little work to do that.
My team and I have roughly 250 joint ventures waiting in
the wings (that we can’t handle directly) and that we’d
like to pass off to properly trained individual.

By the way, one of the things that makes a JV broker so
effective is that they are master networkers. I will
spend seven days this coming January on a cruise with
close to 500 top marketers and their friends. I’ll spend
