Remembering MY First Time… So Long Ago!
Yesterday, I read a post by my friend, and inner
circle member Dr. Mani.
He was talking about “his first time.”
Having my curiosity arounded, I read Dr. Mani’s blog
post here, and saw that he was actually talking about
his very first website.
Next, I saw that my friend Case Stevens was talking
about his first time, on his blog here.
So, I thought that I’d share mine.
My very first websites were on FreeYellow, Angelfire,
and Geocities. I don’t remember the urls although
they are probably in notes somewhere in storage
That was back in 1996.
By 1999, I had moved to “professional hosting.”
Back then, setting up a shoppingcart and getting
all of the credit card processing hooked up was a
BIG deal.
This shoppingcart that I had hosted on Hypermart back
in 1999 is still in The Way Back Machine:
It’s neat to see how we evolve over time… and how the
products/services that we offer change over time.
By comparison, here’s where I offer one-on-one
coaching/consulting today:

I found SEO to be entirely too much work
