Water And Tiny Tweaks

If you walk through my neighborhood, you’ll notice
bright orange stains on brand new houses, sidewalks,
mailbox stands etc.

Those stains are cause by sprinkler systems that
pull water from a water table that sites atop orange
clay that is also filled with minerals.

If you drill down another 10-15 feet, there’s another
water table that is free of these minerals, and
therefore wouldn’t stain your house etc.

If builders spent another $20-$30, drilling just a
little deeper, homeowners wouldn’t be destined to a
lifetime of washing the stains off their houses…
and trying to get them off of driveways.

What does this have to do with Internet marketing?
It’s often knowing little things and making small
tweaks in your marketing that makes a HUGE difference.
Something as simple as:
- Changing a webpage’s background color
- Changing one word in a headline
- Changing a price by $5
- Swapping out a testimonial
- Changing the title of a product
- Adding or removing a video
- Changing the time that you send out your ezine by
as little as 30 minutes
— You get the idea

I’ve tested, tweaked, and tracked a lot of things over
the past 14 years. I share many of those in my ezine.
If you are not a subscriber, you’re missing out on not
only my experience, but that of many friends who have
been online nearly as long… and often share their test
results with me.
