Like half the people on the face of the planet, I
ended 2009 by setting goals and making plans for
2010.
I bet that you did too.
I even shared mine with you. In case you missed
them, one of my biggest goals was to focus more,
and to do more of the things that generate the
greatest results.
For me, that means working more with local offline
businesses, teaching them to leverage the power of
the internet to grow their brick and mortar businesses.
As I explained that to you in late 2009, I also
explained that this makes more sense for many of us
than does marketing to other Internet marketers. The
reason this is so, is because offline businesses
have budgets set aside for promoting and growing their
businesses. All that you need to do to get your
share of those budgets is to show them that you can
honestly help them… and you can.
That’s what I will really, really focus on this year.
That’s what I’ve already done in the first two weeks
of this year. I did that even as I spent January
9th – 16th on a cruise with around 400 Internet
marketers. I learned a lot from those marketers, and
did an amazing amount of networking. I learned many
new tactics, tools, and business-building strategies.
Most of what I learned can be applied directly to my
business where I work with local offline businesses.
I “hit the ground running” in 2010, and have already
set things in motion that can’t help but I have a very
successful year.
I hope that you’re doing the same. We’re already
two weeks into the new year, and it WILL be over
before you know it.
Now is the time to stop over-analyzing, and get into
