This week, we are just giving you a quick product review.
One of the products that I tested this week is called PDF
Brander. For a long time you could allow people that you sent
.exe ebooks to to rebrand those using an attached application.
However, youcould not rebrand or personalize PDF ebooks.
I published my cookbook, and a few free ebooks, in PDF format
because I wanted them available to the widest possible audience.
I gave resellers of my cookbook a free mini-cookbook to pass
around (with their affiliate urls in them). For nearly a year, I
had an assistant hand-personalize each one before giving it to
the affiliate (I didn't want to force the affiliate to do the
personalization themselves and possibly mess it up). As you can
imagine, this was fairly time consuming.
PDF Brander proved to be the perfect solution to my problem
and I absolutely love the product. With the product:
- You register as a customer
- You upload an ebook with custom tags in it to a server
- You point your affiliates to a webpage on your site where
they fill in a few blanks (the personalized items) and then
click submit.
- In a few seconds the affiliate or customer is given a PDF
ebook with his personalization in the appropriate places.

As I said, I love the program. It works flawlessly and freed up
a lot of time for my staff to do more productive things. The only
drawback is that you need a separate account for each ebook.
Program runs from their server and your ebook as well as your
delivery pages are stored there. That's not really a drawback
though. It just means you need to sign up for more than 1 account
if you have more than 1 PDF ebook that you want to be
