Clickbank Merchants - Increase Your Profits By
Stopping Thieves - Here's How!

If you are a Clickbank merchant, you know that you have
at your disposal an incredibly large network of energetic
resellers. With the right product, and a little coaching
for your resellers, there is no reason you can't profit
over $100,000 per year from a simple product (such as a
small ebook). This should be EASY! If you're not
accomplishing this, here's help.
As a Clickbank merchant you CAN'T benefit from the affilate
network unless the affilates see that they benefit from
their efforts. The system has a glaring problem which prevents
this. The problem is that any Clickbank reseller can circumvent
other affiliates' efforts. One affiliate can put in a lot of
effort promoting a product only to have interested parties
come to the affiliate site and then NOT order through their
affiliate's link. You see... any Clickbank affiliate can
substitute his nickname into another affiliate's link and get
credit for that sale. He can purchase an order "from himself"
and save the commission. That's a BIG disincentive for any
Clickbank affilate.
I tested a product this week which solves this problem. It
called Easy Click Guard. It overcomes a number of other
Clickbank shortcomings too. This easy to use software:
- Allows your affiliates to link directly to more than 1 of your
products, even if they are on different websites. This is with
the merchant having only 1 Clickbank account! Without the
software an affiliate can only point potential customers to
one page on one website.
- Allows you to force affiliates to sign up for your program
in order to market your products. With a regular Clickbank
account a merchant has no idea who is selling his products. He
does not have any type of list of resellers and resellers aren't
required to register with the merchant. This allows the merchant
to communicate with his resellers. The script can be configured
to disallow unregistered resellers. The script can allow
existing Clickbank links to continue functioning.
- Hides your download page from freebie seekers. Hackers can
currently access your download page with a little guesswork. With
this software you can encript things better and only allow people
coming through the Easy Click Guard link (after proper
validation) to access your download page.
The software is very easy to install. There is only 1 file that
needs a few variables specified and then your setting at
Clickbank need to be pointed to the scripts. You do need PHP
4.x
on your webserver for the script to run. Most hosts have this
setup as a default.
The software acts as a front-end shell to the Clickbank system
and doesn't change how Clickbank processes the order. It uses
its own links to track orders rather than using the Clickbank hop
links. These links that you and your affiliates promote would
contain YOUR domain name rather than Clickbank's. This means
you're building your link popularity in the searchengines rather
than building Clickbank's search engine ranking.
As you can tell, I like Easy Click Guard. I have a Clickbank
account which is used to market several of my own products and
I'm integrating Easy Click Guard into my setup.
The final feature I must mention is that you can have affiliates
send potential customers to sign up for your ezine. Then the
system can track how the subscriber was acquired and if they make
a purchase months or YEARS later, the affilate still earns the
commission. I've seen a number of big name affilate program
managers use this feature with considerable success. Now you
can
offer your affilates lifetime commissions on all of your products.
This should boost your affiliate program considerably.

Have you priced your product according to its value? Are
you aware of how many copies you must sell to reach your
financial goals? What is your break-even point (the point
at which you will cover your tangible and intangible costs
running your information product business?)

Take notice of some really successful information product

the good news is that there are proven techniques these
entrepreneurs have used to massively increase the value of
their products.
Here are 3 techniques you can use immediately after
reading this article to double or triple the price of your
information product.
Profit Tip 1 - Focus on What You Know
The point is quite simple. If you develop your product
around your passion and what you already know, then its
value will be higher. Here are a few reasons why this is
the case:
- You can include very detailed information otherwise not
available to your customers
- Including first-hand experiences will substantially
increase your credibility and trust
- You may leverage your insider market contacts to help
sell your products and produce valuable testimonials
- You will have an instant pool of partnership
opportunities at your disposal to add value to your product
- You can double the price of your information product
because people will pay for solid information from someone
who has been there, done that.
Profit Tip 2 - Bundle information presented in multiple
formats
So you have developed an ebook you think is only worth $19
on the market, have you asked yourself this important
question:
What can I do to increase
the value of my ebook to sell
at $38 or even $57?
The simple answer, bundle more relevant information to
make your product irresistible at almost any price!
Say your ebook topic is How To Save $1000s On Your New
House. What else could you bundle with your ebook?
How about 4 audio interviews with top contractors,
builders or housing representatives who give your customers
inside tips on how to save money getting your house built.
How about bundling in a report or ebook on negotiation
skills aimed at giving you the upper hand dealing with
various builders and trades people? What about offering a
checklist of potential high-cost items with less expensive
substitutes, you could come up with this in a few hours of
research with your local building supply dealer.
The possibilities are endless, but one thing is clear.
With a few extra hours work up front, you cold easily
double or triple the price you charge for your products.
Profit Tip 3 - Create Your Own Solution System
Afraid that charging more for your product will send your
customers to the competition? Not sure why your customers
will pay double or triple what they can pay for one of your
competitors' products? Don't worry.
Set yourself aside from the crowd by developing your own
solutions system
What is a solution system? Give your approach to dealing
with your topic a name. The label for your solution will
be your solutions system. For example, take the steps you
list for solving a particular challenge (say public
speaking) and use the first letter of each step to define
an anacronym that you now own. Alternatively, you could
give it a name such as the SIMPLE Guide To Super public
speaking where SIMPLE stands for Select a topic,
Investigate for content, Mine for information, Produce your
talk, Lick your fears, and End with humor, for example.
You now own the SIMPLE system for superb public speaking.
Having branded yourself, you instantly gain credibility,
stand out among your competition, present yourself as
highly credible, and create a simple term to spread word of
mouth advertising.
Don't Sell Yourself Short
If you have trouble coming to terms with charging higher
prices for your products, then use these techniques to add
value to your offer. One thing is for sure, if you don't
offer a medium to high end product in your category, then
you are selling yourself short.

Have You Outgrown Your Fish Tank?

Over in the corner of my kitchen, just to the right of the
back door, sits a fish tank. It's not a particularly big
tank, probably no more than about two foot wide by a foot
deep. This tank is home to my pet goldfish.
What's his name?
Don't be stupid! You don't give goldfish names. I mean,
they're hardly likely to come when you call, or roll over
and play dead on command are they?
But now you come to mention it, he does always seemed
pleased to see me. Always up at the corner of the glass
wiggling with excitement he is, whenever I come home.
OK Jeff, get a grip you moron! It's only because he wants
feeding! Get to the point will you? We're all busy people
here you know!
Sorry, it's just that thinking about my goldfish made me
remember something that I think you might find interesting.
Have you ever heard of the Fish Tank Theory?
Well let me tell you about it!
The Fish Tank Theory simply says that fish can only grow as
big as their tank allows. If you put a fish that appears to
have grown full-size into a bigger tank it will then grow
some more to accommodate the new tank.
So how does this affect you?
Well, if you think about it, the Fish Tank Theory also works
with people just like you and me. What do you do when you
feel you've outgrown your current situation? You plan a
change or move of some sort, don't you?
Planning the next move in your business or personal life can
be just like designing a new and bigger fish tank. To help
achieve this you need a vision of your future the way you
want it to be after the change. Without such a vision it's
very difficult to move forward.
So, when designing your new 'fish tank' you create a picture
in your mind that you want to grow into. The more vivid you
make this picture, the more likely you are to achieve it.
So why can't you just design the biggest tank you can
imagine, and avoid all the lesser moves in between?
The reason is that you simply have to be realistic! If you
design a massive new all singing and dancing tank with all
the bells and whistles, when you jump in you'll surely
drown. You see the size of your new tank is directly
proportional to the risk of moving into it.
Big tank = big risk, and small tank = small risk. Get the
picture?
Designing your new tank is all about planning your future.
You probably won't be able to move into your new fish tank
right away. So you'll have to plan the steps and timescales
for reaching it. You may need short, medium and long-term
goals to enable you to fully visualise. And of course they
should be specific, the more specific the better!
So, if you're currently feeling constrained and frustrated
about the future, you may have outgrown your fish tank. You
need to sit down and think about designing a new one.
